The election results of the 2016 US presidential election unsettled me. This because I knew intuitively, that voice had just been given to a lot of people with racist attitudes around the world.
As a young man, I had people sow into me. To this day, I remember the youth meetings, the words of wisdom (many I still use today), the camaraderie, etc. As I got older, I too started hosting youth meetings, and those were some of my best days. I brought in Christian movies and songs for the Church youth. We danced and cried - all to God's glory. I am always excited about any opportunity to pour into young people's lives. Prayer Works This is why I am asking you to pray for me and my team as we host youth meetings in cities across the great country of Nepal from March 7th to March 12th, 2020. I will also be speaking to Church leaders. The government is not allowing [...]
Happy to testify that the "One More Time" meetings, were a success. From a ministry standpoint, Team Onyx exceeded more than we've ever done before. God provided, protected us, helped us see salvations, healed us, helped us recover from grueling travel and much more. If the Lord has called you into ministry, please don't hold back, there is not a thing as rewarding as serving our precious Jesus. Thank you again for going with us in your prayers and support. As humans, we feel it's fair, rational even, for a lady to go through about 25 years of schooling (suffering) to become a doctor. Yet we find it hard to accept that suffering is the fastest way the Lord knows to bring growth into our lives. Joseph, as a young [...]
I've received several messages asking: "When are you coming to Nigeria?" Well, after a number of years, I am pleased to tell you, I am coming to Nigeria this June 2019 by God's grace. It's a homecoming of sorts. Good news is that I have space for one more meeting, so if you are able to organize a meeting at your Church for my team and I, or your Pastor is able to, then reply and we can work on details, seeing if it will work. Lagos, Abuja, Imo, Abia, PortHarcourt etc. If you are in Nigeria, I'm looking forward to seeing you in person soon, by God's grace. And more immediately, hearing from you via email reply. Below is a video of a meeting we did in Nepal. We [...]
It's been a few weeks now since I returned from the gospel crusade in India, and I’ve had some time to convalesce. I wasn't physically sick per se, but I was mentally drained and spiritually exhausted. I needed God's refill, and in true fashion, He did not fail. There was a backlog of items on my desk here at the Onyx House that required my attention. Hence, it took me awhile to get back to writing…I'm glad to write to you again. A Heart Full of Thanks My heart is full. It's full because of the 200+ people who put their trust in Jesus Christ for the first time. It's full because of the woman who experienced God's healing touch, whom I visited and prayed for in the hospital, [...]
As we proceeded to the supermarket checkout a few hours ago, my 5 year old Esther asked loudly: "Daddy when are you ever going to get a job?" Lol. The people around me laughed. A gentleman in front of me apologized. I too shared in the laughter. Little Esther's mind was thinking: "How is daddy going to buy me things he bought for me before, if he no longer has that job?". Fair thought. She did observe I had left a good career to answer my calling into full time ministry. When we got home, I saw a refund mail waiting on my desk for $351.68. This will go to fund the air ticket for my trip to India next month. Speaking of which, if you are around Northern India, I will [...]
God has done the miraculous this year. Thanks to your generosity, over 10 Children were sponsored and released from poverty in Jesus name. This happened at our recent "Night of Compassion 2015" event in Indianapolis. In addition, we also raised $500 so another child without parental support can have the opportunity to reach a higher potential in Jesus name. You are already receiving a harvest here on earth but you wait till you get to heaven and hear God say: "As you did to the least of these, you did for me". Nothing like it. #MovingForwardTheBook Giveaway Please join me in congratulating fellow community saints: Destiny Pal, Tshidi Bayana, Victor Sirengo, Grace Emenogu and Ishaku Israel, on winning copies of the book (kindle version), Moving Forward by Stephanie Ike. Jesus, Light of [...]
