Napoleon Bonaparte, arguably the greatest military genius to live, having conquered the known world by age 33, yet being human, he died a drunkard. It is said that prostitutes were found amongst his army. Napoleon could conquer the world but himself he could not conquer. And he certainly could not conquer death. Napoleon went the way of all men

Jesus Christ, at age 33, being human conquered the world …I have overcome the world – John 16:33. But He did not stop there; He conquered self by being without sin. …but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are -yet was without sin – Hebrews 4:15. He ultimately laid down his life, so that others, through Him might live. Better yet, Jesus Christ conquered death. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? – 1 Corinthians 15:55

Though you enjoy many of life’s successes, and yes, its many troubles, you are yet human. You will go the way of all men. Man born of woman is of a few days and full of trouble – Job 14:1. But if you accept the sacrifice Jesus made, if you willingly accept the exchange of His life for your death. Then you will receive the gift of eternal life. There will be no need for anxiety over tomorrow. For you would have overcome with Him.

In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world – John 16:33
