The year has begun with a boom. I just got back from a deployment this January, that took me to 6 different nations – Germany, Belgium, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, and Ethiopia – on missions related to work.  I’ve seen many put their hope in Jesus Christ for the first time already and testimonies varying from healing, fruit of the womb to God’s financial provision. God is good. If this is a harbinger for what is to come this year 2020, then I’m so ready. Are you? Brace yourself, it will be one of those years for the books. Pivotal, monumental and breakthrough kind of year. Receive it in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Godliness with Contentment

Humanity mostly equates gain to godliness. This is wrong. That someone is successful materially does not mean they are godly. Scripture is clear, “godliness with contentment” – that is the gain, not only gain but – great gain. The recent passing of Kobe Bryant, the all-time great basketballer buttresses the point that you and I came into this world with nothing and won’t leave it with our millions, houses or cars. It wasn’t until Moses was content with his Shepard job, and his little family, that God called him to do bigger things – to rescue Israel. It wasn’t until I was content with running my modest web design company in Lagos, Nigeria as a 16-year-old boy, that God called me to the nations.

The Secret Called Contentment

Perhaps what has been holding you back is the fact you have not deployed this secret of contentment to your advantage. Paul understood this and said: “I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation”. But didn’t the Lord admonish us to thirst, to want more?  You ask. Yes, to thirst after righteousness, not after worldly gain. To seek first the Kingdom of God and its righteousness, and these things (worldly things) will thirst after you, pursue you even. You see the man/ woman of God does not strive. She has entered into her rest (content). Everything she does now is to bring God glory. To live is Christ.  And if material success is needed for her impact, the Holy Spirit provides it in abundance. If you catch this, 2020 will be extraordinary for you.

I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whenther living in plenty or in want. – Philippians 4:12</span

Joy Orakwe – The doctors told me I need an operation. I just recently got married 8months ago and since then I have been believing God for the fruit of the womb. I believe God’s concerning my fruitfulness.
