Moses was dependent on his mom, servants and guards in the palace. But he had to flee to the wilderness, for his life, when  he drew the ire of Pharoah, by killing an Egyptian. In the wilderness, God moved him from dependence to Independence. God appeared in the burning bush and established a working relationship with Moses. With God, Moses was now ready to successfully take over Egypt, a one man invasion. But just before he did, God brought Aaron to help, thereby moving Moses even further, from independence to Interdependence.

God Loves to Work in Two’s

You see, God loves to work in two’s. Jesus sent out His disciples 2 by 2. Remember Paul and Silas? God made his creation male and female. His word says 2 is better than one. You don’t need a multitude to believe in you and your ministry. You only need the one other person, the Lord will bring. God does not work with crowds, just His individual, then he brings someone else to help in due season, like He did for Moses.

You Have What You Need

So then, don’t be discouraged if you don’t have a massive team around you yet. God never works that way. One person is enough.  You and God can chase a thousand. But with someone else, whom God provides, you can now chase ten thousand. Are you struggling because you are still waiting for the help of a team? The Lord asked me to tell you today that, you already have all the help you need. 2 of you, with the Lord, is enough to do the job. Be encouraged.

Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. – Ecclesiastes 4:9
