I empathize—it’s been a season of loss for many. The real question remains: What do you have left? That’s what God’s gonna use.
When life strips away what we thought we couldn’t live without, it’s easy to focus on the empty spaces. But God doesn’t need what’s gone—He works with what’s still in your hands. A shepherd’s staff in Moses’ grip. A widow’s last drop of oil. Five loaves and two fish in the hands of a boy.
What you have may look small. It may feel insignificant compared to what you’ve lost. But in God’s economy, little becomes much when surrendered to Him. The seed you plant now, the skill you still possess, the relationships you still hold—they’re not leftovers; they’re building blocks for your next chapter.
So, take inventory. What remains? Strength to pray? A voice to speak encouragement? A gift that hasn’t been buried? Place it in God’s hands and watch Him multiply it.
You may have lost much, but you haven’t lost everything. And what you have is enough for God to begin again.
