Here is a testimony I received recently: “I thank God Almighty for keeping me safe from an accident this morning, I was driving with my colleagues to work this morning on a double lane road, there was a vehicle at my front blocking my view, so I tried to pull out so I can overtake it, the moment I did, I just saw another vehicle coming at me with top speed and in a short distance, till now, I don’t know how I managed to dodge it without collision, nobody was hurt, not even a single scratch on us nor the car, I just know it was God at work and I give him all the glory”. – Esene.

God is Not Through With You Yet

Yes, it was God at work. The God whose purpose in Esene’s life is not yet concluded. The God of the future. The God that delivered Daniel from the Lion’s Den, that delivered Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego from the furious fire. That same God just delivered our brother Esene. Maybe in your life, you can recall near death experiences you’ve had, and how God came to your rescue. You remember how rough, playful and carefree you were as a child, yet God kept you till adulthood. Diseases and accidents ravaged the lives of many. Yours was sparred. More tragically, many fell out of the faith they grew up in, some never did accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. But you did. God is not through with you yet.

You Are in God’s Future Plans

You are alive and on earth at this time in history, at this defining moment – for a purpose. The devil could have got you but he couldn’t because God has a future for you. You are part of God’s work in evangelizing the earth. You are part of God’s puzzle in establishing His Kingdom here on earth. You are in God’s future plans, an inexhaustible lifetime spent with Him. You are the apple of His eyes. You are a marvelous object of His concern. God does not need you, but by grace has He included you in His future plans. You matter much to the God of the Future

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth ; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. – Isaiah 43:19
