Peter it was who got the revelation as to whom Christ is when he answered: “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God”. This was a brilliant response to the Lord’s question: “But whom say ye that I am”? And yet it was the same Peter whom the Lord rebuked saying the devil had sought to sift him as wheat. Peter was the one who asked to and did join the Lord walking on water. And yet it was Peter who denied the Lord 3 times. Peter preached a sermon that brought 3,000 people into God’s fold and yes, Peter it was, who asked that Jesus should never wash his feet, later reneging. Aren’t you fascinated by Peter.

Perhaps you can relate to the life of Peter. The lack of consistency. Being on fire for the Lord for 2 days, only to fall into the besetting sin on the 3rd day. And then something happens. A stability of sorts. You start growing from glory to glory. Stronger and stronger in faith with each passing day. What made the difference? The Holy Spirit. A scared Peter hiding out in an enclave, busted out of windows and doors to preach the gospel after he received the Holy Spirit. A certainty of purpose set in. The Holy Spirit was and is the game changer.

So you feel a little bit wobbly as a Christian? There are days when you jump with joy, your head can almost touch the moon, and days you just want to crawl under your bed and come out when the trouble is over. This is exactly why Jesus sent the Holy Spirit – for you. To comfort you in rough days. To remind you of all He taught while you read His word.  To seal you into His kingdom for all times. Glory. If you have not yet received the baptism of the Holy Spirit yet, speak to your  Pastor about this life changing gift. If you can’t, then reply to this message and I will gladly pray that you receive the game changer.

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you _ John 14:26
