From El Salvador to India
Adan’s story reminded me of my own story. When I was starting out, a middle aged Indian man, Ameet Israni, took me around Lagos city to attend seminars. There I saw speakers from all around the world persuade, and move attendants to action. I asked Ameet one day: “Sir, why are you taking me to all these seminars?” His reply was, “I want you to see“. That’s it. “When you begin to see”, he added while adjusting his eyeglasses, “your mind will begin to work”. In order words, you will begin to believe. Today, as I travel the world speaking about Jesus, I still use some of the mannerisms and gesticulations used by those speakers of old. Seeing those speakers then, helped me believe that one day, I too would be persuading and inspiring people around the world through words – both spoken and written.
See it, Believe it, Achieve it
In John chapter 20, Jesus said to Thomas Didymus: “Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed”. The chapter goes further and says: “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ”. In order words, we wrote, so you can see and then believe. This is why God gives people jobs, healings and miracles after they have been prayed for, because others need to see this in order for them to believe. I write often about my evangelistic travels, and publish one of many testimonies I receive here because I want you to see. God saw the earth in his mind’s eye before he called it forth with his mouth. Begin to see a bright future for yourself and your family. See people coming to know Christ because they encountered you. If you would see this and believe it, I promise you, you will achieve it.
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth – Mark 9:23
