Owerri Nkwoji holds a sacred place in my heart. It was here that I first felt the unmistakable call of God to take the gospel to the nations—and here that I fully surrendered to that call. I remember shutting myself away for days, alone in my room, immersed in Scripture, prayer, and meditation, as the Lord shaped the course of my life.

Though I had preached for a few pastors in Nigeria in the past, this crusade marked a milestone—it was the very first time we hosted our own crusade anywhere in the nation. I sensed the Lord drawing me back to the very place where it all began. I heard what I can only describe as a Macedonian call. While much of that cry spoke of physical hunger, I felt strongly in my spirit that God was stirring a deeper hunger—a longing for spiritual awakening and a quenching of spiritual thirst. Family circumstances further confirmed that this was truly a “for such a time as this” moment.

We came with clear objectives, one of which was deeply personal: believing God for the salvation of my father, and for many others bound in idol worship. Naturally, we wondered if anyone would even come. But as the meeting began, the people streamed in hungry—and the crowd continued to grow larger and larger as the crusade progressed – and God met them.

This crusade was especially meaningful because my family ministered alongside me. My wife, Ella, shared the platform with me, and my brothers joined us as well. We were able to minister together as a family, which was incredibly powerful. I preached on the message, “The Blessing of the Father,” and the Holy Spirit began to move in unmistakable ways.

When the altar call was given, hands went up across the crowd. Many openly renounced local gods and idols, placing their faith in Jesus Christ—the Father’s greatest blessing—who gave His Son to die for our sins. As we prayed for the sick, shouts of jubilation rang out as healing broke forth throughout the crowd. Many with physical hunger were also provided for, and many suffering with infirmities were healed by the power of God.

One of the most profound moments of the entire crusade came when my father—77 years old—responded to the altar call and placed his faith in Jesus Christ for the first time. Behind him stood my daughters and my son, participating in their very first crusade, all serving the Lord. My mother sat just behind him as well—a firebrand believer—alongside my wife. This moment, captured in a single image, is one I will cherish for the rest of my life. Truly a mountaintop moment for our family and our ministry. Today, my father continues to serve the Lord faithfully.

Hundreds of others also made decisions to follow Christ that night, reminding us once again that the harvest is ripe when the gospel is preached with faith and obedience.

Scripture tells us:

“So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.” —1 Corinthians 3:7 (ESV)

We are deeply humbled and honored to witness God bring salvation, healing, and restoration in city after city. None of this would be possible without you. Because you pray, give, and stand with us, lives are being transformed, families are being restored, and the gospel is reaching hearts that have waited generations to hear it.

Thank you for making this happen. Thank you for sending us. From the bottom of my heart, may God richly replenish you and bless you in abundance—just as you have been a blessing to so many
