Happy to testify that the “One More Time” meetings, were a success. From a ministry standpoint, Team Onyx exceeded more than we’ve ever done before. God provided, protected us, helped us see salvations, healed us, helped us recover from grueling travel and much more. If the Lord has called you into ministry, please don’t hold back, there is not a thing as rewarding as serving our precious Jesus. Thank you again for going with us in your prayers and support.
As humans, we feel it’s fair, rational even, for a lady to go through about 25 years of schooling (suffering) to become a doctor. Yet we find it hard to accept that suffering is the fastest way the Lord knows to bring growth into our lives.
Joseph, as a young ruler, could only be effective on the Egyptian throne through the things he suffered. Jesus learned obedience through the things He suffered. Bible says: If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: … and that those that will live godly lives must suffer. It’s hard to accept, I get it, but not something to fear really. What is fearful is substituting the comfort of the Holy Spirit during suffering, for the placebo effect of vices.
The very thing – suffering – that ought to bring you closer to God, shouldn’t’ end up eternally separating you from His Love. The suffering designed to bring you up to speed as you traverse new levels, should not end up permanently breaking you. Use it to become the man/ woman God has called you to be. Not any more natural, but supernatural. Not any more ordinary, but extraordinary. This is the will of God for your life. Embrace it.
