I‘ve had numerous emails coming in about folks getting promoted left and right. It will continue. If you haven’t received yours yet, continue to be expectant, and pray. And when you do, don’t forget to testify by simply replying to this email or sending an email to uche@evangelistuche.com. Yet, I must caution, getting a promotion does not mean everything in life will be great. No. There still will be hard times. Life is not fair. It’s not true what they told us, that you get out of what you put in life. Many times so, but sometimes, you may put your all and get little in return.

The Role of Bitterness

The key here is not to get bitter. Particularly if you’d like to keep your promotion. You can’t always control what happens externally. But with God’s help, you can control what happens internally. Jesus said, it’s not what gets into you that defiles you, but what comes out of you.  I’ve observed, unpleasantly so, that as people get older, they get more bitter. Have you observed this too? I pray that will not be your portion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Roots of Bitterness

Recently, our wastewater was blocked and not flowing freely to the city mains. We called in a plumber to take a look, and he determined that there were roots under the ground, blocking the pipe. As soon as he cleared the roots, the water flowed freely. That made me think of the verse: “lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you”. Roots of bitterness lead to congestion, which breeds panic and ultimately blocks the flow of the Holy Spirit in your life.  Determine in your heart today that you will not hate nor be bitter. Not over your family members, pastor, lover, or close friend. Confess boldly this moment: “I will not be bitter!” I will not be bitter!!” I will not be bitter!!!” God bless you.

“Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, will all malice” – Ephesians 4:31-32

Testimony

Thank you so much for your email. I just wanted to testify that your prophecy about my promotion came true in January. I got promoted and moved to a new workstation away from the capital city meaning less stress of traffic jams and lower cost of living. I thank God for the promotion. – Barasa Mayavi

Let me know how I can pray for you. Jesus Christ loves you and so do I. Until next time.
