Darlene Zschech – You Have Overcome

I was in Birmingham Alabama a few weeks ago and made a quick stop by the Church of the Highlands to peek at the live recording session of worship legend Darlene Zschech.  Darlene could have used her gift to make millions of dollars in the mainstream music industry, instead she used it to serve her God. She esteems her title of wife and mom way higher than that of star/diva/worship leader. This is why her voice and anointing has greatly impacted our lives and ministry over the years. On recording this album, Darlene is accompanied by friends, Israel Houghton and Kari Jobe. The atmosphere was that of a jubilee celebration, of a party announcing and celebrating the return of the King. I was uplifted and reminded that there is nothing that compares to serving and worshiping Jesus. Here is a short video clip of what I saw.
