Happy Valentine’s Day:

I’m glad my body clock is readjusted since I got back from Uganda. I am able to stay awake again past, 7pm again. Woohoo! Write me and tell me how has your new year resolutions have been going? I believe something prevalent in our thoughts as 2019 rolled in, was transformation. Leaving the old and grasping the new. I write briefly about it below:

The Phoenix is a large bird of Greek mythology, that after it gets to a certain old age, self destructs. This bird, burst in flames, and then reemerges from the ashes, a new bird with renewed youth and vigor. A rebirth occurs, a transformation, a transition, if you will. It’s the way you get when you are born again. The old things are past, you are a new being. Things you used to do, you do them no more.. You are reborn with God’s own DNA, re-energized by the Holy Spirit.

This process of rebirth does not just occur once, when you give your life to Christ. It happens often in your Christian journey. There are seasons in life when you go through a transition. If you don’t catch this, see it for what it truly is, you may think God is punishing you for your past sins, or that your life is becoming unhinged, or your world is crumbling all around you. This season of uncertainty is one for your rebirth, when you shed the past, as painful as it is, and launch into uncharted territory, to the place where your greatness is released.

An Eagle renews it’s strength on occasion. It has to, in order to attain the heights it was born to soar in. It goes through this transition, which is not always a pleasant experience, but a worthy one. You’ve been on this mountain for too long and it’s time to soar again. A time to re-energize, to renew your youth, so you can continue successfully on the path to your destiny. Consider then, this season, not a time of regression, not a time of just hunching down and getting what you deserve – but instead, a time of progression. Things you’ve lost are only making way for things to come. Believe then, again, rise dear one, a Phoenix from the ashes.

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. – Isaiah 40:31

I just got promoted to a manager, and further contracts are coming. I’m glad I started participating in your ministry. Doors are opening for me in this season.

Jesus Christ loves you and so do I. Until next time
