If I invited you to dinner at my house and set before you a spread of rice, chicken, beans, vegetables, mashed potatoes and gravy, bread, pumpkin pie, ice cream, etc.; surely you realize, innately, that you are just as welcome to have the bread as you are to have chicken. The entire spread is for you. There is no restriction imposed on you except the one you put on yourself. Why would you limit yourself to just the vegetables when you can also have the rice? I don’t know about you, but I would want to eat as much variety as I can, to my fill.
Those Seeds
Much is known about the sower and his seeds, from the BIblical parable. How some of them fell by the wayside, some on thorns and then others on stony grounds. These seeds met their demise. Ultimately, some seeds did fall on good soil and those that did thrived. What is often missed in this beautiful parable is the outcome of those that fell on good soil. Some yielded 30 percent, others 60 percent, and yet others 100 percent. Think about that a minute. It’s not enough to just be good soil, but another question is asked: “What kind of yield would you get?” Are you the soil that gets 30 percent of what God has made available for you? Why settle so low? Why leave the other goodies on the table?
100 percent
When you go to a crusade or a Christian conference or to your local Church, do you just take the praise and worship and leave behind your healing? When you read this piece, do you just take the testimony, and leave behind the revelation? Surely, you must get all that God has given in His menu. If you want God’s best, why settle for less? God has put a spread on the table. A spread of healing, deliverance, joy, peace, love, wisdom, self-control, miracles, speaking in tongues and prophecy to name a few. You are invited. You can help yourself to some of the menu. Heck, you can have it all if you want! He’s given you permission to covet the best gifts. (1 Corinthians 12:31). Oh, may you get all that the Lord has set before you—which is 100 percent.
And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred – Mark 4:8
